The water level at Sahuarita Lake is rising quickly! Now that repairs are complete, and just in time for spring, the Arizona Game and Fish Department’s (AZGFD) first fish stocking of the season is scheduled for Friday, March 21, 2014. The water level has risen enough to cover the beach that was exposed to make way for the repair work, and continues rising-up the edge wall. Once the normal water level has been reached, the restriction signs and barricades will be removed and normal recreational boating can resume. This should happen soon after the fish are stocked. To kick-off the catfish season, the first fish delivery will include a double load of catfish. Happy springtime fishing, everyone!
