The Town of Sahuarita will hold public hearings to consider Aspire 2035: Sahuarita’s General Plan. This is the required 10-year General Plan update. The Plan contains a vision for the Town’s future, current conditions of the Town, maps, and goals and policies related to: Land Use; Growth Areas; Transportation; Public Facilities and Services; Parks, Recreation, and Open Space; Environment; Water; Energy; Economic Development; and Cost of Development. The Plan also contains the Sahuarita East Conceptual Area Plan (SECAP) and its related maps. Aspire 2035 encompasses the existing Town boundaries plus additional surrounding land area, including land extending east to Houghton Road. The draft plan and maps are available for public viewing at Town Hall and online at www.sahuaritaaz.gov/GP.

• Monday, June 1, 2015, Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing at or after 6:30pm at the Town Council Chambers, 375 W. Sahuarita Center Way.
• Tuesday, June 2, 2015, Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing at or after 6:30pm at Anamax Park Recreation Center, 17501 S Camino de las Quintas.
• Monday, June 22, 2015, Mayor and Town Council public hearing at or after 6:30pm at the Town Council Chambers, 375 W. Sahuarita Center Way.
