Town of Sahuarita Mayor, Tom Murphy attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the town's newest retail center, The Crossing, on May 12. On site with the mayor were Vice Mayor, Melissa Hicks and council members Gil Lusk, Kara Egbert, and Bill Bracco. Representatives from the Wadsworth Development Group and Accelerated Services organized the event.
The new shopping center contains 150,000 feet of retail space and is already home to Sprouts Farmers Market, TJ Maxx, PetSmart and Beall's Outlet with some other restaurants and shops also on the way toward opening.
