Background Information
Arizona and Nevada completed the Interstate 11 (I-11)
and Intermountain West Corridor Study in 2014. The study included detailed planning of a possible interstate link between Phoenix and Las Vegas, and high-level visioning for extending the corridor south to Mexico and potentially north to Canada. Arizona is continuing the planning process to identify a Selected Corridor Alternative between Nogales and Wickenburg, Arizona, through a Tier 1
Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Study.
The EIS Study is available for public review and comment. Please visit the I-11 Study Public Meetings and
Outreach Page for more information, including meeting details, Draft Tier 1 EIS document repository locations, and how to comment or review the I-11 Provide Your Input! notice.
