The Town of Sahuarita will be hosting its 3rd annual BizEDGE Shark Tank Competition on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 4:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers (375 W. Sahuarita Center Way). The businesses competing this year are Continental Spa, Ascend Martial Arts, and Shield Bar Marketing.
Dr. Justin Dutton, of Coppermine Dental Studio, will be the MC for the event. Each business has gone through more than 20 hours of training with the SBDC (Small Business Development Center) and ProVision Coaching through workshops such as Profit Mastery and Franklin Covey.
The businesses will apply what they have learned and present their ideas for business growth at the Shark Tank event for a chance to win $4000. There will be three judges on hand to evaluate the competitors’ performances.
This event is made possible by a grant from Freeport McMoRan. The town’s economic development staff continue to help foster businesses in the Sahuarita area who want to grow their operations and become more efficient and sustainable. Small businesses are the lifeblood of our community, and we strive to help them achieve their goals.
