Today, the Pima County Recorder’s Office mailed about 118,000 application forms to voters who usually vote at the polls. The mailer has “Official Election Mail” on the front of it. The deadline to request a ballot by mail is Friday, October 23. If voters plan to go to the polls on Election Day, they do not need to return the form.
Voters may also call our office to request a ballot by mail: 520-724-4330.
“In this difficult pandemic year, we want to give all voters the option of voting from home,” says F. Ann Rodriguez, Pima County Recorder. “We mailed forms to voters so they can let us know if they want to vote by mail this year, or be placed on the Permanent Early Voter List.”
It is possible that voters who have already requested a ballot by mail will receive this mailer because addresses were sent to the printer several weeks ago.
Voters may go to https://recorder.pima.gov/VoterStats/BallotInfo , to confirm that they are on the Permanent Early Voting List or that they have already requested a ballot by mail for the 2020 General Election.
